A Minecraft skin editor has reportedly been charged in Utah with raping an underage girl and a 15-year-old boy, police said.
A 21-year old man has been arrested in Utah, according to police, and he is being held on $1 million bond, Salt Lake County sheriff’s office spokesperson L.T. Walker said.
The victim, identified by authorities as Jaden, was raped in Utah on July 17, according a release from Utah Department of Public Safety.
Authorities said they were notified by a family member of the assault and the child who witnessed the attack.
The man was arrested a short time later and booked into the Utah County Jail, where he was charged with aggravated rape, sexual abuse of a child, child endangerment, aggravated child abuse, unlawful restraint, and child abuse and neglect.
A 15-years-old child was also taken to the hospital, where his condition was stabilized, Walker said, adding that authorities are still investigating the assault.
Walker said the investigation is ongoing.
He declined to give further details about the alleged crimes.
The Associated Press previously reported that a Minecraft skin maker had been arrested earlier this year after he allegedly raped a 15 year old girl and her mother, who were in their home.
The teen’s father, who did not want to be identified, told police the couple had been sleeping together in the basement when they awoke to find the man inside, who “was naked and very aggressive with his hands around the 15 year olds neck,” according to court documents.
The father said he told the man he had a gun, but the man refused and grabbed the gun and shot the father in the arm, the documents said.
Police did not say if the father had filed a complaint with authorities.
